Principal's Message

Welcome to Middlesex Middle School!

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Middlesex Middle School and it’s a privilege to be joining a school district with an outstanding and well-deserved reputation for excellence in education. As I step into this new role, I know that I have much to learn from the students, parents, and staff of the Middlesex community– and frankly there is nothing more exciting to a career educator than a new opportunity to learn.

I hope to meet each of you personally over the coming months as we work together to create a learning environment that is both challenging and meaningful. As a short introduction in the meantime, I’ve spent the last 17 years serving in a variety of roles in Connecticut middle schools. I began my career as a Spanish teacher and progressed to my most recent position as the assistant principal of Lincoln Middle School. I’m also mom to two boys who will be entering 7th and 5th grades respectively this fall. It’s important to me that every member of this school community feels welcome and excited by the opportunities that await in the upcoming academic year. There will be many opportunities to meet when classes officially begin again but if your schedule allows, I would welcome the opportunity to briefly introduce myself along with the administrative team during the following hours at Middlesex Middle School:

July 6th from 11-12pm
August 11th from 1-2pm

If your schedule does not allow for you to drop in over the summer, we will be organizing parent meetings early in the fall. As a believer that relationships are critical to the success of our students, I look forward to working with you all to ensure our students’ success.
