It's time for March Madness!! Sign up in groups of two or as an individual (Teams will have 6-8 payers each). 

Interested students are encouraged to sign-up in groups or as individuals.

****7/8th graders MUST sign up by 3pm on Thursday, February 13th (tournament 2/25-3/6 no games 3/5)
****6th graders MUST sign up by 3pm Tuesday, March 4th (tournament (3/10-3/20)

MMS Ambassadors - ๐Ÿ‘‰Wanted!!!๐Ÿ‘ˆ

Do you like helping people? Do you have what it takes to be a role model for others? Then the MMS Ambassadors might be just for you!

  • Leading the 5th grade elementary school students as they tour MMS in the Spring
  • Assisting with Parent Open House night in the Fall
  • Serving as peer mentors for students new to Darien and MMS
  • Providing tours for New Student Orientation Day in August

Prospective applicants are encouraged to learn more information about the MMS Ambassador Program and application process!

Please read the recent welcome letter from Principal Dimoulas.  In the letter you will note the parent orientation information and student school visits.

MMS Robotics Competition

The Fourth Annual MMS Robotics Competition will be held in the MMS library on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 1:00.   Any MMS student who has attended a robotics program or session in the past is eligible to sign up to be part of a competitive team (of their choice, or one can be assigned).   

Students will meet after school on MONDAYS in February and March to plan and write code to complete as many missions as possible using a Lego Spike Robot and the SUBMERGED mission board.  

Use Darien student login credentials to sign up here. There is limited space available so spots will be filled on a first come,  first served basis.

TeenTalk @ MMS

TeenTalk collaborates with school staff and serves as a school-based Mental Health Program through Kids in Crisis that provides students with assessment, crisis intervention, counseling and support.

TeenTalk counselor provides therapeutic services to students struggling with a variety of adolescent-related issues, including: Stress, Social Issues, Substance Use, Mental Health Concerns, School Avoidance and Academic Challenges.

TeenTalk Counselor offers linkage between students and beneficial community resources/supports. TeenTalk is a program of Kids in Crisis which provides the Darien Community with a 24/hr hotline, outreach services and residential care. 203-661-1911
