Good afternoon Families,
There is only one more Friday left and it seems the year has been flying by since Spring vacation. It has been wonderful to see our students enjoying the beautiful weather outside and many classes have taken advantage of being outdoors. The notes today are our upcoming events over the next two weeks. Our next Friday Notes will be the last one of the year.
- Locker clean out for 8th grade is on Thursday 6/8.
- Locker clean out for 7th grade is on Friday 6/9.
- Locker clean out for 6th grade is on Monday 6/12.
Please expect students to be bringing home their belongings on these days and we ask that you keep an eye out for any rogue library book that needs to be returned to MMS. Also, all 8th graders should be turning in their Chromebooks on Friday, June 9th.
- Team Day for the 7th grade will be on Thursday 6/8 at the end of the day and the 6th grade will be Tuesday 6/13. The MPA has graciously provided popsicles for all students on this day!
- Monday 6/12 is the 8th-grade trip to Holiday Hill. Please remember NO food or drink is allowed. Students will not be able to board the bus with any food or drinks, including water bottles, snacks, etc. Everything will be provided at Holiday Hill.
- Tuesday 6/13 is the graduation rehearsal in the morning for 8th grade. We will take buses over in the morning to practice and return to the MMS by 11 am.
- Tuesday 6/13 at 5 pm is the 8th-grade graduation at DHS. Each student receives 2 tickets and only 2 people will be allowed into the auditorium. There are no exceptions due to the limited seating. Any other family members that attend will be able to watch from the gym.
- The last day of school is Wednesday, 6/14 and it is an early dismissal. All students will be dismissed at 12:25 pm.
A Note from the MPA:
