Private School Application Process
Students/Families,
Please see the information below for the private school/boarding school application process:
1. Please complete the 2 release forms linked below to allow us to send transcripts to the private school and to allow teachers/staff to complete recommendation forms. We can not release any information to an outside agency/school without this document signed by the parent/guardian.
2. Please complete and return these forms to Counseling Department Secretary, Sue Loura, at sloura@darienps.org or in Room 146. If you will be sending a Transcript Request via The Standard Application Online or the Gateway Portal, please also use Mrs. Loura’s email address.
3. Students should email or ask their teachers/counselors in person if they would like them to complete a private school recommendation.
Please submit documents/requests at least two weeks (10 school days) prior to the application deadline. This will allow faculty and staff sufficient time to prepare application materials. We can not guarantee timely release of materials received inside of this 10 day window.
