Attendance

TO REPORT AN ABSENCE: Please call Attendance Line 203.655.2518  for all absences and early dismissals.  Press number 3 when prompted.

DAILY ATTENDANCE: If student is not in class Block 1 when their teacher takes attendance, student will be marked absent. The Connecticut attendance law allows student ten absences, excused or unexcused. Following the 10th absence, parents/guardians must provide a doctor’s note for an absence due to illness, and Aspen will generate an email stating that your student has exceeded the allotted number. The Administration is committed to working with all families to help ensure consistent student attendance

TARDY PROCEDURE & ROBOCALLS: Students arriving after school starts must check in with front office, otherwise student may still be marked absent and parents will get robocall.
